The "Great Shofar Blowout" was held on Sunday, August 29th at B'nai 
Israel at 10 a.m.   Attendance was open to everyone.  Conceived by the
North Shore Jewish Federation of Boston, subsidized nationally by the 
Robert I. Lappin Foundation, and brought to us by Dr. Robert Braitment, 
our Men's Club was able to obtain Shofarot for the BIG BLAST.  The entire
Jewish community was invited to attend, watch and participate. The 
gathering place was just outside the entrance to the Kress wing of the 
B'nai Israel school.  Along with Men's Clubs throughout the country, we 
are trying for a Guinness record for the number of people blowing the 
shofar at the same time.  Thanks to everyone who came to join us in 
setting the record!
